The ESSENCE Street Style Block Party was nothing short of fabulous! This shindig definitely added some African hot pepper sauce in New York's Fashion week. The crowd was oozing with beauty, individual style, and high vibes. I love Brooklyn (Goddess knows I do) and I love all of the non-conforming souls of different shades, sizes, and hair textures expressing themselves in so many creative ways. The same industry who rejects us is copying our same style without our face. Cultural appropriation much? Thank you ESSENCE for highlighting the street style and beauty of men and women of color!
